Moody's ranks five
American AAdvantage Funds
AMR
Investments, manager of the American AAdvantage Funds, is proud
to announce that Moody's Investors Service assigned Aaa money market
fund ratings to the American AAdvantage Money Market Select Fund,
the American AAdvantage Money Market Fund - Cash Management Class,
the American AAdvantage Money Market Fund - Institutional Class,
American AAdvantage U.S. Government Money Market Select Fund and
the American AAdvantage U.S. Government Money Market Fund - Cash

Moody's
stated that the Aaa ratings reflect the strong overall credit quality
of each fund's investments, solid liquidity management, as well
as the conservative investment guidelines and practices of the advisor,
AMR Investment Services, Inc. of Fort Worth, Texas. These "feeder
funds" operate under a "master/feeder" structure and invest all
assets in the Aaa rated AMR Investment Services Money Market and
U.S. Government Money Market Portfolios, respectively.
In
support of its ratings, Moody's cited AMR Investments' policies
designed to control credit risk, market risk and cash flow volatility.
Moody's also noted that AMR Investments is an experienced fund sponsor
with well developed trading, audit, and compliance systems.
Bill
Quinn, president of AMR Investments stated, "We are very pleased
with the ratings assigned by Moody's to these funds as it recognizes
the commitment we have made to providing a very high quality investment
vehicle to our shareholders."

Airlines and other institutional investors. AMR Investments offers
a variety of investment products to meet the specific individual
financial goals of each investor. Assets under management for AMR
Investments have grown from $4.9 billion in December 1987 to $32
billion in January 2002.

Investments is a wholly owned subsidiary of AMR Corporation, parent
company of American Airlines. Please read the prospectus carefully
before investing.

your investment at $1.00 per share, it is possible to lose money
by investing in these funds. The American AAdvantage Funds and American
